Warner Bros. unveiled a stunning new trailer for Dune: Part Three during a remarkable international event at IMAX theaters.
This cinematic experience was not only a visual treat but also included a live Q&A session featuring director Denis Villeneuve and star Timothée Chalamet, broadcast from Los Angeles.

Alongside the highly anticipated trailer, fans were treated to an extended scene from the movie. Originally showcased at CinemaCon in April, this footage was now presented in full IMAX 70mm format, enhancing its visual appeal.
Villeneuve introduced this intense sequence, highlighting the repercussions of Paul’s decisions from Dune: Part Two. He noted, “This scene provides a glimpse of the consequences of Paul’s journey, depicted with the breathtaking intensity of a World War II movie.”
Cinematic Experience and Battle Sequence
The scene follows a group of drop ships filled with soldiers descending onto a planet amidst a massive storm. Tension mounts as they navigate through colossal lightning strikes, culminating in a catastrophic hit on one of the ships.
Among the soldiers, Stilgar, portrayed by Javier Bardem, is notably present, adding familiarity for fans. As the narrative unfolds, rain becomes a fascination for the troops, symbolizing their pivotal journey.
Upon arrival, the soldiers face a fierce attack from hidden artillery that emerges from the ground. As they seek shelter, their efforts to combat the enemy’s defenses prove futile, leading to tense and costly engagements.
